A different backdrop

It can be a real benefit to find yourself with a different backdrop to your wanderings. These photos were supplied by a mate of mine – Joe – who has a real taste for distressed buildings, street art and more.

Why don’t we explore our city surroundings a little more? Why don’t we take a little more interest? Even in the distressed and desolate there are textures, shapes and colours to be found. There is imagination even in those things that appear to emphasise endings.
